When Should You Upgrade to an Electric Wire Stripper?

Most people do not need an electric wire stripper for their first pile of scrap wire. The need usually appears later, when batches become regular, cable gets larger, and controlling feed speed begins to matter.

When drill power is still the right choice

There is a tendency to treat electric equipment as the automatic next step, but upgrading only makes sense when it solves a real limitation. For many electricians, contractors, recyclers, and homeowners, a drill-powered wire stripping machine already does everything required of it.
