My E250 works really well. It will pay for itself in no time. A little disappointed that the variable speed knob was broken during shipping but no problem, still works great. A little constructive criticism, I think the power cord would be a little more out of the way on the right side than the left where the wire feeds through. Just an observation, otherwise a great product.

Is this the best wire stripper out there? Yes. Is it perfect? No. It does do a good job stripping wire, don’t get me wrong. However the lifetime reliability of parts is questionable. I did have to replace the wire feed guide after stripping about 400lbs of wire. Seems the “Air-Craft Grade” aluminum was a bit too soft and the romex sheathing wore the hole to a point where it couldn’t keep the wire in line of the cutting wheel, despite strictly following their protocol for proper placement of the guide to wire. Luckily that was replaced under the 1 year, seems short in my opinion, warranty and I can’t imagine what they charge to replace it at my cost. And speaking of the cutting wheel, I’m already on #2 after about 600lbs. Tool steel just doesn’t stay sharp long enough to justify the 30 dollar price tag. Once it goes dull, it doesn’t cut/score the plastic sheathing. I feel like Carbide would be a better candidate for the cutting wheel. Also, I do wish the second hole from the bottom on the wire feeder was a bit bigger to allow for 10/3 round wire. These are small improvements that definitely should be worth considering to check on and offer better replacements.

This machine is easy to set up and I started striping right away. I strip mostly braided and the coating on the outside of the wire I strip can be a hindrance but the machine does fine
